Deepak Dhapola has taken back-to-back hat-tricks in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season.

Uttarakhand pacer Deepak Dhapola is having a dream run in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season. The red-hot Dhapola has taken a hat-trick two matches in a row, against Puducherry and Delhi in India’s premier red-ball competition.

On the second day of Uttarakhand’s Elite Group D clash with Delhi at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali, Dhapola ran riot  to reduce the former champions to 11/5, accounting for four dismissals with three in a row.

The demolition job began in the final delivery of what was Delhi’s first over of the second innings itself. Dhapola bowled Delhi opener Arpit Rana for a six-ball duck and then got rid of Under-19 World Cup winning captain Yash Dhull for a golden duck with the first delivery of his second over,

The 33-year-old completed his hat-trick with the scalp of Kshitiz Sharma who was bowled for a golden duck.
