Very Berry White Sangria
Sometimes you just want a glass of Sangria. I’ve been craving one for a bit of time now. And I decided that a Spanish themed dinner was the perfect occasion to enjoy that glass. Up until now I have always made the red version, but this time I strayed just a little from the usual.
This recipe is super easy to whip together, and is a fabulous way to start or end a hot summer night.
1 bottle white wine, chilled
1/2 cup sweet dessert wine, chilled
1/3 cup blueberries
1/3 cup raspberries
1 peach, chopped
Mix all the ingredients together. Serve and Enjoy!
What I love about this recipe is that there’s no need to make simple syrup, stir in sugar or even look for spices in your pantry. The dessert wine takes care of that, plus it adds a little bit extra umph to the cocktail. Use the white wine (Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio …) you like most. Use the dessert wine you like most (Ice Wine, Vin Santo, Passito).
