India’s massive 434-run win against England in the third Test at Rajkot secures a historic place in the record books of India’s Test cricket history.

India managed to register a big victory against England by 434 runs which came under difficult circumstances in the third Test against Rajkot.

After being put on the back foot after the first innings with Ben Duckett’s stellar knock of 153, the loss of Ravichandran Ashwin due to a ‘family medical emergency’, and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s injury concern, the hosts managed to come back strong to register what is a record-breaking win as India took the lead in the ongoing series 2-1.

Yashasvi Jaiswal managed to come back to bat on Day 4 following his century the previous day and went on to score his second consecutive double-century to give the home side a lead of 556 runs to put them back in front. With the ball, it was Ravindra Jadeja who managed to pick up a fifer in addition to his century in the first innings to help bundle out England for just 122 runs, thus registering a record-breaking win by a margin of 434 runs.
